Walmart Mcdonalds Glendale, Arizona

Okay people this Blog is about a very important issue with A Mcdonalds restaurant!
The Mcdonalds located inside the Walmart in Glendale,Arizona.

The Situation...

On Tuesday December 28th,2010 Between the hours of 4:15 and 4:45 PM a good friend of mine went to this McDonald's and had an issue that was originally thought to be a mistake but as you read on you will see why she and we thought it was no mistake but possibly intentional.

Her  (We will call her "Jane") and her elderly mother (Whom we will call "Jill") often go to their neighborhood walmart and stop by the McDonald's inside for lunch or a delicious snack, on this particular day "Jane" and her mother "Jill" stopped in this McDonald's and placed an order of various items (including cheeseburgers, drinks, fries, and a pretzel) well as they got to their cheeseburgers they notice that one of them contained a large black hair thinking that it was just accidental "Jane" takes the cheeseburger to the young man at the counter and the young man takes the cheeseburger to the back and says something to the lady in the back near the grill area the lady says something back to the young man and the young man proceeds to put the cheeseburger into a garbage bin in the front of the grill area  a middle aged Hispanic girl then approached the counter near the register where "Jane" was still standing and holding the other cheeseburger and makes a few comments that really upset "Jane" such as "I'm tired of dealing with people like you", "This is stupid", and rolling her eyes. At this point a lady came from the back whom was dressed differently and appeared to be a manager, "Jane" was relieved and told the manager that she didn't think that the employee should be acting in such a hostile manner and the manager too rolled her eyes and turned to walk away, she then walked to the garbage bin that the young man had just thrown the cheeseburger away in and started picking up the cheeseburger and offering it to "Jane", "Jane" declined it and the "manager" then asked her what she wanted of equal value (two $0.99 cheeseburgers, with tax would be $2.21) so "Jane" said OK then i will take a pretzel (1 pretzel is $1.99 with tax $2.16) however the "manager" then started saying that it had to be the same thing, so "Jane" got a refund...However "Jane" was still really upset that she was offered a cheeseburger from the trash so she stepped out of the McDonald's and told a security officer whom worked for walmart what had just occurred, he advised "Jane" that his hands were tied as he could not do anything about the McDonald's employees but he advised her that she could contact McDonald's corporate office, so "Jane" went back into McDonald's where her elderly mother "Jill" was sitting and told her mother what security had said and "Jane's" mother told "Jane" that while she was just on the other side of the window the store employees were loudly speaking about "Jane" and laughing about the situation and one employee was overheard saying that "this isn't the first time this has happened here", "Jane" then approached the front counter and asked for the lady's name she then identified herself as the manager and demanded that "Jane" give her full name and phone number before "Jane" could get her name, she then told "Jane" that she would call her manager and tell her first. "Jane" was returning to her seat to finish her drink and pretzel when the "manager" told "Jane" that she needed to leave McDonald's and Walmart or she would "call the cops" as "Jane" was leaving the McDonald's Security advised her "not to let that lady scare her" as the lady has no authority to trespass nor kick anyone from the property, "Jane" contacted a few associates of walmart reference her experience as well as a manager and one of the associates advised "Jane" that there had been a similar incident previously, the customer service manager did not have any knowledge of any prior incidents but did advise "jane' to call the health department asap, "Jane" then contacted her local police department and was told to follow up with the health department. She also attempted to call a walmart store manager upon arriving home and was told that they would look into the issue.
